Teen Therapy
The teen years are full of change—emotionally, socially, physically, and mentally. Most youth are asking big questions about who they are, what they believe, and where they belong. We provide therapy that helps teens navigate all of this with support, safety, and real tools for managing what they’re going through.
Why Teens Come to Therapy
Adolescence can be overwhelming for both teens and caregivers. It’s a developmental stage where identity, independence, and emotional growth are all happening at once. Teens come to therapy with us for many reasons, including:

-
Anxiety, panic, or chronic worry
-
Depression, withdrawal, or self-harm
-
Struggles with identity, self-esteem, or peer relationships
-
Trauma or loss that affects school, behavior, or emotions
-
Family conflict or feeling misunderstood at home
-
Stress related to school, sports, or social pressure
-
Support for adoption, foster care, or donor-conceived identity
-
Exploration of gender or sexual identity in a safe, affirming space
Whether they are overwhelmed, shutting down, acting out, or just need someone to talk to who isn’t a parent or teacher, we’re here to help.
How we Work
Our therapists are trained to build trust with teens while also working collaboratively with families when appropriate. We know that effective teen therapy balances autonomy and support—giving teens space to open up while also including caregivers in ways that build connection, not pressure.
