Full Therapist Biography
James is an intern therapist at Therapy Center for Transformative Growth under the supervision of Stephanie Oyler, MSW, LSW, CT. Drawing from personal and professional experience, James is pursuing a clinical specialty in LGBTQIA+ issues with intensive focus on trans and non-binary teens and young adults. James holds a Bachelor’s degree from Temple University in media studies and production with scholarly focus on systemic racism, structural oppression, and architectural psychology. James is a master of social work candidate at West Chester University and receives additional guidance from Indigo Center for Integrative Therapy with Kristen Townley, MSW, LSW. James’s previous experience includes work in an adult Intensive Outpatient facilitating group therapy and in adult education in leadership development, professional skill building, and human relations psychology.
