Integrative Treatment
We blend evidence-based therapies — like EMDR, CBT, IFS, DBT, Narrative Therapy, and more — to create a treatment plan that honors your unique experiences, identity, and goals. We also take a whole-person view of healing, seeking to understand your social, cultural, spiritual, economic, and physical wellbeing as essential parts of mental health. Therapy here is flexible, collaborative, and deeply personalized to you.
What is Integrative Treatment?
Rather than follow a rigid model, we take time to understand what works best for you. Our integrative approach allows us to draw from different modalities to match your needs: trauma processing when you’re ready to go deeper, skills-based tools when problems seem insurmountable, neurobiological techniques when emotions feel overwhelming, or insight-oriented work to make sense of identity and relational patterns.

We understand that some clients choose not to take medication, and others want support in navigating psychiatric care. We’re here either way — to offer nonjudgmental therapy without medication, or to coach you in expressing your needs to psychiatric providers. When appropriate, we refer clients to trusted prescribers and collaborate with them to ensure care is coordinated, respectful, and aligned with your values. We also bring a working understanding of psychopharmacology into our clinical decision-making, so we can discuss how medication might fit (or not) into your broader healing process.
Benefits of Integrative Care
We seek to honor how your mental health is shaped by the whole of your life. That means paying attention to your social and cultural context, spiritual beliefs, racial and gender identity, economic realities, and physical health. We view these not as background details, but as essential to truly understanding and supporting you. Integrative therapy allows us to address these aspects of your life in meaningful and affirming ways.
