What are Neurobiological Therapies?
EMDR, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Flash Technique, and Brainspotting are all body-based therapies that we use to support healing by working with how the brain and body store emotional experiences — especially the ones that feel “stuck” or hard to talk about.
Each of these methods gently activates the body’s natural ability to process difficult memories, using techniques like eye movements, tapping, or focused visual attention to create brain stimulation through physical sensation. Rather than relying solely on verbal processing, they allow clients to engage with emotion, memory, and identity on a deeper, often more intuitive level.
